Privacy Policy
How Sensor Lock handles data and device access.
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Sensor Lock is an Android privacy utility developed and published under the ELUQEN brand. This Privacy Policy explains how Sensor Lock accesses and processes information when you use the application.
Summary
Sensor Lock is designed to perform its core functions locally on your Android device. It does not require an ELUQEN account, advertising service, analytics service, or cloud backend for normal operation.
Sensor Lock does not intentionally collect or share personal information with ELUQEN or third parties through the app. The app does not capture camera images or microphone audio.
Camera and microphone privacy controls
Sensor Lock controls Android's device-wide camera and microphone privacy state. It reads the current sensor-privacy state so it can show whether camera and microphone access are blocked or available.
Sensor Lock does not request the Android CAMERA or RECORD_AUDIO permissions. It does not read camera frames, photographs, videos, microphone recordings, or call audio.
Local setup and Android Wireless Debugging
Initial setup, reconnection, and repair can use Android Wireless Debugging / ADB. You initiate this process by opening Android's pairing-code screen and entering the six-digit pairing code through Sensor Lock.
This local setup is used to establish the system capability required for Sensor Lock's core privacy-control function. The pairing process and normal sensor-control bridge operate locally on the device or its local Android debugging interface; Sensor Lock does not send the pairing code or sensor state to an ELUQEN cloud service.
Sensor Lock uses the restricted Android WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS capability for its disclosed, user-facing core function after the user-driven setup process.
Information stored on your device
Sensor Lock may store the following information in app-private local storage:
- a locally generated ADB private key and certificate used to authenticate the local Android debugging connection;
- local pairing and connection state;
- a randomly generated local bridge port and authentication token;
- app preferences, selected control modes, and operational or last-known protection state needed to provide the app's functions.
These values are not intended to be transmitted to ELUQEN. They remain in the app's private storage and are removed when Android clears the app's data or the app is uninstalled, subject to Android platform behavior.
Sensor Lock disables Android app backup and device-transfer backup for its app data.
Network and device access
Sensor Lock includes Android INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions for local Wireless Debugging / ADB communication and connection recovery. It checks whether Wi-Fi transport is available when local pairing or recovery requires it. An internet connection is not required for the core sensor-control service.
A bundled ADB helper can locally read Android device information used for emulator/host detection, including a local check involving Android ID. Sensor Lock does not use this information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or an ELUQEN account, and the audited application does not transmit it to ELUQEN.
Notifications
Sensor Lock uses notifications to support local pairing-code entry and connection or recovery status. Notification information is handled on the device and is not uploaded to an ELUQEN server by Sensor Lock.
Analytics, advertising, accounts and cloud services
The audited Sensor Lock application does not include an ELUQEN account system, advertising SDK, behavioral analytics SDK, cloud telemetry service, or remote crash-reporting backend.
External links
Sensor Lock can open external links only when you choose them, including ELUQEN websites, GitHub, app-store pages, or your email application for support. Those external services operate under their own privacy policies and data practices.
Data retention and deletion
Sensor Lock does not maintain an identified server-side store of Sensor Lock user data. Local app data is retained on your device as needed for the app to function. You can remove local Sensor Lock data using Android's app-data controls or by uninstalling the application.
Because Sensor Lock does not provide an ELUQEN user account, there is no Sensor Lock account to delete.
Changes to this policy
If Sensor Lock's permissions, data handling, SDKs, networking, or service architecture changes, this policy will be updated to reflect the application that is distributed.
